ShutterLab's rebuilt website: clearer shutter styles, town pages, materials specs, and a free survey callback — because homeowners asked for easier answers first.

New website launch with ShutterLab — and we are really proud of this.
We rebuilt shutterlab.uk from the ground up after hearing the same feedback again and again: homeowners wanted to compare styles, check materials, and see whether we cover their town before picking up the phone. The old site made that harder than it should have been. The new one is clearer, faster, and easier to use on phone, tablet, or desktop — so you can get a feel for how we work before you book a free home survey.
What changed — and why
Pricing used to be hard to find. We still quote after a measure-up (every window is different), but the homepage and contact journey now put the free survey and callback front and centre, with plain guidance on how a quote works — no chasing buried forms.
Our shutter styles section now has dedicated pages for full-height, tier-on-tier, café-style, tracked, shaped, and shutters with integrated blackout blinds. Each page explains when that layout suits the room — for example tier-on-tier for daylight above and privacy below, or tracked panels for wide patio doors.
The specs page answers the material questions we get every week: hardwood vs waterproof composite, louvre sizes (47mm, 63mm, 89mm, and 114mm), colours, hinge options, and hidden tilt vs a visible tilt rod. That detail used to live only in conversation; it is now on the site so you can read it in your own time.
Trustpilot and Google ratings sit where you can see them, alongside the facts that matter: more than 10,000 shutters fitted, and a ten year product warranty plus a ten year installation guarantee on every job.
Where we work
We cover London through to Oxfordshire — including Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey, and Middlesex. The new where we install shutters directory lists town pages so you can check local coverage without guessing. If you are in Oxfordshire, start with the Oxfordshire shutters hub.
How to get a survey
When you are ready, request a callback on the contact page — name, phone, email, and how many windows is enough. We call you back to arrange a free home survey; you can also pick a slot online if you already know when you are free. Thanks for visiting — we hope the new look makes the next step simpler.
