A fresh install from the ShutterLab team in Wallingford — full-height shutters in waterproof polymer (composite), finished in Snow White, with a hidden split.
This Oxfordshire home got full-height panels on a three-sided bay and on a bedroom window. Same material and colourway throughout: Snow White polymer, with top and bottom louvres that tilt independently and no mid-rail cutting across the glass.
The bay window
Bays need panels that follow the angles, not a flat kit stretched across the opening. These full-height frames sit in each face of the bay. The hidden split keeps independent top-and-bottom control while the louvres still read as one tall set — useful on a street-facing room where you want privacy below and daylight above.
The bedroom
In the bedroom, a three-panel full-height set covers the window in the same Snow White polymer finish. Louvres tilt for daylight and privacy; panels fold when you want the glass clear. The hidden split matches the bay, so light control feels consistent from room to room.
Why polymer with a hidden split
Waterproof polymer holds a crisp Snow White finish, will not warp in humid rooms, and wipes clean. A hidden split gives the privacy-and-daylight control of a split layout without a mid-rail breaking the lines. More on materials is on our shutter specs page.
