Hey — welcome to ShutterLab.
We are a family-run shutter specialist with over ten years in the trade. In that time we have supplied and fitted more than 10,000 made-to-measure plantation shutters for homes across London, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, and Surrey. Bay windows in Victorian terraces, café-style panels in Cotswold stone cottages, full-height sets in new-build open-plan kitchens — that is the kind of work we do every week.

The work we do
Every job starts with a free survey from our own advisors — design specialists, not hard-sell salespeople. We measure each window precisely, talk through hardwood, softwood, and waterproof composite options, then manufacture and fit with our in-house team. Most installations wrap up in a single day. Every one is backed by a ten year product warranty and a ten year installation guarantee.
Period homes are a big part of our book: tall sash windows in Henley, Georgian glass in Wallingford and Woodstock, and stone cottage casements around Witney and Chipping Norton. For those openings we often recommend tier-on-tier or café-style shutters that respect the proportions of the original window.
We fit just as many modern homes. Garden towns like Didcot and fast-growing estates around Bicester, Carterton, and Wantage call for clean full-height lines, reliable street-facing privacy, and materials that cope with busy family kitchens and bathrooms.
