A whole-house install from the ShutterLab team — full-height shutters in waterproof polymer (composite), with a hidden split and 63mm louvres on every opening.
Front of house is finished in White. Back of house is finished in Pebble. Same style and louvre size throughout, with colour chosen to suit each side of the home.
Front of house: White
On the front-facing openings, White keeps the look bright and clean. Landing and hallway windows got full-height panels with the same hidden split as the rest of the house, so daylight and privacy can be set independently without a mid-rail across the glass.
Back of house: Pebble
Toward the garden side, Pebble gives a softer grey tone that sits well against cream walls and darker bedroom furniture. The wide rear window and the bedroom both use the same full-height, hidden-split, 63mm spec — only the colourway changes.
Why polymer with a hidden split
Waterproof polymer (composite) holds a crisp finish, will not warp in humid rooms, and wipes clean — a practical choice when you are fitting every window in the house. A hidden split keeps independent top-and-bottom louvre control without a bar cutting the panel in two. On this job that layout is used throughout, with 63mm louvres for a clear view when open.
More on materials and louvre sizes is on our shutter specs page. 63mm is one of the louvre sizes we offer as standard.
